The CCTSF was created in late 2019 when five Canadian clubs came together with the view of advocating and advancing the various disciplines under the FITASC umbrella.
This is an organic Canadian organization, created by Canadians to benefit Canadian shooters and Canadian shooting clubs. Our only external affiliation is with the FITASC organization in Paris, France.
At the present time, we hold the FITASC licenses for both the Compak and the Sporting disciplines.
From east to west, these clubs created this Federation to improve clay target sports shooting across Canada:
As we venture tentatively into 2022, trying to put the past two years as far behind us as possible, we are cautiously optimistic that we will see some semblance of normalcy return to the shooting sports we all enjoy.
As 2022 develops, we are hopeful that we can build on our 150 members and five clubs in four provinces, and have more events across the country.
Please check back here often, as every effort will be made to post new events to this site as they come in.
The first registered FITASC event of 2022 will be hosted by Shot Shell Sporting Clays, and held at Shot Shell Sporting Clays, south of Valleyview AB on Friday, June 10 through to and Sunday, June 12.
The format of the shoot will be:
All shooting will be done under the direct supervision of trained referees, and the rules of FITASC Sporting will be observed. The refereeing will be done with an emphasis on education rather than enforcement.
