About Us
Our Beginnings
The CCTSF was created in late 2019 when five Canadian clubs came together with the view of advocating and advancing the various disciplines under the FITASC umbrella.
This is an organic Canadian organization, created by Canadians to benefit Canadian shooters and Canadian shooting clubs. Our only external affiliation is with the FITASC organization in Paris, France.
At the present time, we hold the FITASC licenses for both the Compak and the Sporting disciplines.
Founding Members
From east to west, these clubs created this Federation to improve clay target sports shooting across Canada:
- Oshawa Clay & Target Club - Port Perry, ON
- Galt Sportsmen's Club - Cambridge, ON
- Alberta Clay Sports Training - Tofield, AB
- Shotshell Sporting Clays - Valleyview, AB
- The Vancouver Gun Club - Richmond, BC
Our Philosophy
- Return fun and comradership to the shotgun shooting sports
- Advance the development of the various FITASC disciplines across Canada, and make them accessible to as many shooters as possible
- Strict adherence to, and observance of, the rules of the various disciplines, to properly prepare competitors for international events
